School Improvement
Improvement is a constant journey and our remarkable track record is enabled by an intelligent and collaborative approach.
As a part-centralised Trust, we work with schools rather than doing things to them, enacting improvement using four lenses established by Dr. WE Deming.
Variations
Where are they and how are we reducing them?
A range of data is constantly reviewed to identify Common Cause and Special Cause variation. Strategy and interventions are then agreed by Directors of Education and school leadership.
Beliefs
What do we believe our jobs and influence to be?
Watergrove’s Mission and Charter are employed alongside DfE Teacher Standards and Education Endowment Foundation research to recontract professional accountabilities.
Systems
How can we align processes for common good?
Directors of Education review and develop school systems with leadership and Governors. CPD Team deliver training in Classroom Leadership and Responsive Teaching.
Psychology
How can we ensure people work well together?
Training is delivered to teams to enhance their performance using the frameworks of Strength Deployment Inventory and Transactional Analysis.
