Watergrove Trust Annual Conference 2025
The Watergrove Trust recently hosted its Annual Conference on Friday, October 17th, which was proudly “For Everyone”. The day saw hundreds of staff come together across two venues—Wardle Academy and Matthew Moss High School—to focus on the Trust’s core mission:
“Providing more, as one community, to enable life in all its fullness.”
This year’s conference was structured around four critical themes — each designed to foster conversations that “coach, challenge, and innovate,” a key pillar of the Trust’s charter.
A special feature of the day was the sense of connectivity across the organisation, brought to life through the community postcards. These small but meaningful exchanges highlighted the relationships, appreciation, and mutual support that underpin our culture.
The conference’s success was driven by the tireless work of many internal teams. Building on this foundation, our internal facilitators delivered exceptional contributions with their innovative insights and coaching suggestions, proving incredibly impactful. We were also incredibly grateful and impressed by the contributions of our external guest speakers, whose input added further insight and challenging perspectives to our discussions.
At Matthew Moss High School, our associate colleagues took part in an equally engaging and inspiring programme. A standout highlight was Nicola Morgan’s session, which received incredibly strong feedback for its engaging delivery, practical strategies, and deep relevance to colleagues’ daily work.
Colleagues across the entire Trust greatly valued the opportunity to reflect deeply on the application and reality of their work, drawing powerful connections between theory and practice. This spirit of shared growth captured the essence of what makes our community so strong.
