On Saturday, we were thrilled to host our Annual Governors’ Conference, bringing together the remarkable colleagues who enhance the future of our learners across all Watergrove Trust schools. It was a morning filled with passion, purpose, and a shared vision for Providing More.

A Powerful Mission: Our CEO, Mark Moorhouse, opened the day with a compelling address reinforcing our core Charter and the vital role of governance. His words reminded us all why we do what we do:
“Learners come first; no vulnerable child in Watergrove will pay for the political comfort of the adults.”
Our Identity: Reverend Ann Gilbert shared valuable insights into our unique ethos and what it truly means to be a Church of England trust.
Empowering Governance: We were privileged to host a brilliant keynote from Ruth Agnew MBE, who shared expert guidance on how to master the crucial role of being an effective “critical friend” as a Governor and Trustee.
