Wonderful Musical Collaboration at the Rochdale Music Service Festival
Bands from our feeder primary schools performed at the Rochdale Music Service Festival. Over 100 of our students, taught by tutors from Wardle Academy played on stage in wind and brass ensembles, as well as 40 drummers!
Every group that played got 91 or above out of 100 all receiving honours, an incredibly high standard across all schools!
It’s so reassuring to see so many young students participating in music within our local area. The future is certainly looking bright for Wardle.
We are always pleased to support the Rochdale Music Festival with such high numbers and look forward to next year.
The St Andrew’s training band achieved 93 out of 100 and the school band 97 out of 100, both receiving honours with the school band coming 1st place! Well done everyone! This is a fantastic achievement, we are so proud!
