The Love of Reading
Here at the Watergrove Trust we value the importance of reading and understand the benefits and enjoyment that books can bring. Every Trust student has received a free book from the Trust, to keep, read and enjoy!
Children who enjoy reading and can read well by the age of 11 have the door opened to new discoveries and wider interests; to knowledge, creativity and confidence. Reading is the key to unlocking every child’s full potential and opens up a world of possibilities.
Our very own Reading Steering Group set a fun competition for students to promote their favourite book in a creative way. We have received some wonderful entries (some of which are shown in the images below), and are very proud of everyone who took part.
